Social Impact Entrepreneur, Leadership and Business Coach, helping Black and women founders to fund and shape their big ideas

With nearly a decade of experience coaching business leaders, advising global organizations, and dedicating my work to advancing the cause of Black liberation, I'm an expert in helping innovators align their purpose with their business goals.

I provide personalized 1:1 business coaching for entrepreneurs and leaders, as well as customized DEI consulting packages designed specifically for organizations committed to creating equitable workplaces.

In 2020 I founded The Well Work, a community-rooted organization that’s on a mission to teach one million Black women founders how to build, grow, and fund their small businesses and create BIG legacies!

Since its launch, I have built a vibrant community of 25,000 founders from marginalized communities, providing them with access to funding, growth opportunities, and strategic guidance.

Rebecca Cesar, Tinted Health, The Well Work, BWFA Alum:

“Kat was a great instructor and encouraged us all to participate and dig deep. I also enjoyed having at various stages within the program.

The Well Work’s BWFA provided structure and helped me identify areas of improvement within my business model and how to sharpen up my deck. It added more confidence for me to get up and speak and understand that support can only be garnered if I believe in what I am building first. Kat created access to information which is powerful. This is the catalyst for me to continue to apply for more opportunities that can aid me and my business.”

Jatu Bokai, m0BiNurses, The Well Work, BWFA Alum:

“We received a grant from the Ohio Commission on minority health to coordinate two community events during minority health month in April!

Thank you Kat for your continued support and encouragement. I can’t say enough great things about my experience in your Founders Academy. Life changing. Thank you for the opportunity and thank you for your well wishes. I wouldn’t be making this announcement without the knowledge I gained from the academy!"
